On 10th/10/24, the Mt. Hagen Protected Area hosted its first official induction meeting, marking the beginning of a crucial journey toward environmental conservation and sustainable development. This meeting was conducted with the Conservation and Environment Protection Authority (CEPA) team, partner agencies, and local stakeholders, all gathered with a shared vision: to preserve the rich biodiversity of the Western Highlands Province while fostering sustainable human livelihoods.
